Pale limestones and sandstones are among our most popular tiles - probably because these ‘neutral’ tiles are so versatile. Use them to create a subtle ‘canvas’ for a light and airy scheme based on a natural palette, or as a muted base which can be ‘spiced up’ a daring paint colour for example.
The ‘coffee and cream’ look is very popular, and mixing subtle texture rather than strong colour is key to achieving this relaxed neutral look. For a clean contemporary feel, select Amtico Crema Marfil, Limestone Malt or Limestone Biscuit and furnish your room using natural fibres and fabrics such as leather, wools and linens.
For those who have an eye for detail we’d suggest combining Amtico stones with a simple 3mm Concrete Pale grout strip, this will define each tile and create a more natural look.
